Gbono (real name Yushau Adozuka) is a Nigerian Afrobeats and Afro-fusion artist, record producer, and creative entrepreneur; from Kogi and creating out of Lagos.
He grew up on the sounds of Afrobeats, rap, Fuji, Juju, hip hop, and R&B, and over the years has poured those influences; along with his struggles and his wins, into the music he makes today as Gbono.
His debut EP, “Maybe A Little Longer,” captures the real journey; from the late nights to the potential breakthroughs. “If you’ve ever fought to make something out of nothing, this one’s for you,” he says.
Beyond the music, he is building #OTG Gang (Off The Grid Gang), a movement for dream-chasers, and growing his independent label, Headline Music, to inspire the next wave.
